I fished the Taylor River C&R stretch yesterday afternoon from about 1:30 PM until 5 PM. It was cold and snowing off and on, but the fishing was excellent. I can’t remember ever catching that many fish in January. It would have been an awesome day for summer. I caught all browns of average size, and landed this one really nice and fat 22-inch rainbow here. The trip up there was worth it just for this fish alone. It was a good start to 2014.
