I had the C&R section of the Taylor River to myself yesterday for 5 hours. It was sunny and warm, and the fishing was very good. I caught most of my fish in the late morning hours, but I got into some bigger fish in the afternoon, like this nice 23-inch rainbow here. The release is only 50 cfs, so the fish are pretty spooky. Some browns are still in spawn mode, but there are plenty of fish to chase in the deeper riffles.
