Of Mice and Trout

I had a few hours to fish today and decided to throw mouse-like patterns on the East River. I was curious to see if I could find some big fish on mice during the daytime. I caught several nice trout, including this fat 21-inch cutbow which came up from the bottom of a crystal clear run that was about 4 feet deep. It was pretty exciting watching this big fish come up and gobble the mouse. Special thanks to Henri for his mouse research on the Taylor River last week. 🙂 21-inch cutbow 21-inch cutbow
