East River Trout and Bald Eagles

There were still quite a few salmon in the East River today, and there were plenty of rainbows and browns in there with them. The fish were in very shallow water near gravel, so an egg pattern worked well. I saw about 7 or 8 eagles there today. One launched off the ground just 20 feet away after we scared the heck out of each other. They are so huge when you get that close. It was very cool.
