It was a beautiful day on the East River yesterday, and it was fun to get out with Doug and Lewie. We’re in the early stages of run-off, but the river was still in great shape. For reasons unknown to mere mortals, fishing was much slower than I expected. However, we did manage to find a few trout here and there. The rivers are really rising now, and they are getting pretty dirty. The warm temperatures this week have caused the snow to melt a bit early.
